What is a forklift

Forklifts are used in various places such as factories, distribution warehouses, ports and freight terminals. It is very convenient that you can easily lift and carry things that cannot be lifted by human power, but if you use them incorrectly, it will lead to a big accident, so no one can ride. The law stipulates that you can study the structure and safety of a forklift, practice until you can drive properly, and only give the qualifications for driving to those who pass the test.
There are many types and shapes of forklifts, from small to very large, but they are defined (determined) as follows.

A forklift refers to a powered cargo-handling and transporting vehicle (such as an engine) equipped with devices such as forks and rams for loading (loading) luggage and a mast for raising and lowering (elevating) this.

① Counterbalance forklift
A counterbalance forklift truck has a fork and a mast that raises and lowers the fork in front of the vehicle body, and has a weight (counterweight) attached to the back. This type is most often used.

② Reach forklift
The reach truck can move the fork back and forth even when stopped. It is suitable for working in tight spaces as it pulls in the forks when running with or without luggage.

①Engine type forklift (engine car)
Engine forklifts are further divided by the type of fuel used.
1. Diesel cars
Operate with a diesel engine that is often used in buses and trucks, and can generate a great deal of power with few failures.
2. It runs on a gasoline engine, which is often used in gasoline-powered passenger cars, and produces less noise and vibration than a diesel engine.
In addition, there are forklifts powered by gas-fueled engines.
3. LPG vehicle (liquefied petroleum gas)
4. CNG vehicle (compressed natural gas)
② Battery-powered forklift (battery car)
Battery-powered forklift trucks are suitable for indoor work because they use a battery to drive the motor, so there is no exhaust gas and the sound is quiet. It is common to run, raise the lift (cargo handling), and turn the steering wheel (steering) using separate motors. In the case of the engine type, these are all done by one engine.
